2. 使用名词属格时，必须注意的地方

一般来说，’s属格多用于有生命的东西，of属格多用于无生命的东西，但实际上，两种结构既有区别之处，又有相通之处。

（3）必须用’s属格的情况

3）表示类别。例如：

student’s book学生用书

例句：When the student arrives in the morning, the headmaster greets him or her and carries the student's books.

这名学生早上到学校时，校长要向他或她问候，并且帮他或她拿着书本。

结构分析：When引导时间状语从句，the student是主语，arrives是谓语，in the morning是时间状语，the headmaster是主语，greets是谓语，him or her是宾语，and是连词，carries是谓语，the student's books是宾语。

teacher’s book教师用书

例句：Our teacher reads the teacher’s books to us.

老师朗读许多教师用书给我们听。

结构分析：Our teacher是主语，reads是谓语，现在一般时，the teacher’s books是宾语，to us是状语。
