【YOU英语每日一课】短语、成语、常用语，你知道几个？

今天是我们的短语课，来跟Jessie老师学习几个短语吧！

短语和成语通常由几个词组成，这些词，每个你都认识，但放在一起，就好像不太认识了，还常常会弄错意思。和我们汉语的成语一样，这些都是得专门学习记忆的哦！

1、be fed up with 受够了

A: I’m fed up with his rudeness.

B: He is not always like this. Just don’t mind it now, OK?

A：我受够了他无礼的样子。

B：他不总是这样的。别介意，好吗？

I think she’s pretty much fed up with her job.

我看她很讨厌她的工作。

2、just in time 刚好及时

A: Has the train left?

B: You’re lucky. You got here just in time.

A：火车开走了吗？

B：算你走运。你到得刚好及时。

I put on my brakes just in time to avoid hitting that car.

我刹车得正及时，没撞到那辆车。

3、for good 永远

I think my purse is lost for good.

我觉得我的手袋再也找不回来了。

A: Are you going back to the United States for good?

B: No，I’ll come back when the project is over.

A：你回美国去就不再回来了吗？

B：不，等项目结束我就会回来。

4、call it quits 到此为止；收工

Let’s call it quits. I’m beat.

我们收工吧。我累了。

A: I’m pretty tired. What do you say we call it quits?

B: I can’t agree more.

A：我好累。我们就到此为止好吗？

B：我完全同意。

5、out of your mind 疯了

A: What do you think if I give her a call?

B: Are you out of your mind?! You’re crazy to be calling her at this hour.

A：你觉得我现在打电话给她怎么样？

B：你疯了吗？你这个时候打电话给她简直是疯了。

I must be out of my mind to be doing this.

我一定是神经错乱了才会去做这种事。
