1 因果关系

观点：The youth unemployment rate remains high.

展开：As a result, many students are worried that they will not be able to find jobs after graduation.

2 举例

观点：Governments should improve public transport services to reduce traffic in big cities.

展开：For example, if better underground train systems were built and maintained in large cities, then traffic on the roads would be reduced.

3 对比

观点：Young people who pass directly from school to university have limited experience of the world.

展开：By contrast, those who have spent some time travelling to other places have a broader view of life.

4 让步

论点：

Celebrity endorsement is a good marketing strategy in sport marketing.

展开：Many people buy goods that their favourite sportsmen advertise, although they do not really need the products.

5 假设

论点：The government should encourage people to take some exercise on a daily basis.

展开：People will go to the gym more frequently if they know that they will be rewarded .
