儿童英语绘本《Do you want to be my friend？》
绘本简介：
Do You Want to Be My Friend?《你想和我做朋友吗？》延续了卡尔爷爷一贯的特色，句型重复率很高，在一遍一遍地重复中，不断加深孩子对语言的记忆。
主角小灰鼠追着各种动物的尾巴，真诚而礼貌地询问“Do you want to be my friend?”，而动物的另一头则藏在翻页后，让孩子忍不住根据尾巴去猜想动物，然后去翻页验证自己的猜想。全书只有2句，封面标题“Do you want to be my friend？”和结尾小灰鼠的新同伴“YES”，其中的篇幅没有任何文字，充满弹性，让孩子发挥想象为小灰鼠和其他动物编写它们的对话。
与其他版本相比，卡尔爷爷故意淡化小灰鼠找朋友被拒的过程，留下图画让孩子看图说话。
