The first step for an organizational reform

The first step for an organizational reform: "Without a common vision, your achievement as a company will be capped at the status-quo. You will perform below this level when times are bad, but even if your action plan is implemented perfectly you will not perform any better than the bare minimum of what you should do. Stability is important as we have said, but Stability can only bring you to what you should be doing. With a unified vision, however, you will be able to push past this barrier to achieving the greater potential for the organization and all who work there. This is what everyone really wants to do. You must have a vision in order to have progress. A truly innovative action plan must start with a consensus on a meaningful vision. That vision starts but does not end with leadership. Talk about what you want first, and form a consensus based on what you should be doing to achieve the long vision."
