Professor Xuzhu Dong is Dean of School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Wuhan University. He was Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of Smart Grid Institute of China Southern Power Grid (CSG) EPRI. Before joined CSG, he worked with Progress Energy, FirstEnergy, and EPRIsolutions in USA, as senior engineer, stuff engineer, and lead engineer. Dr. Dong received his MS and PhD degree from Tsinghua University, China in 1995 and 1998, and his second PhD degree from Virginia Tech, USA in 2002. His research interests were smart distributions, microgrids, integration of renewable energy, energy storage, and asset management. He was involved into several key smart grid demonstration projects at CSG. Dr. Dong is senior member of IEEE, and member of CIGRE.

Prof. Bo Wang, IEEE senior member, deputy director of power system research center, Wuhan University Electrical Engineering College, member of editorial board of regular and chair dynamics, academic journal of SCI three District in the field of optimization computing. He is mainly engaged in the research work of new energy consumption and big data application in power system with the participation of controllable load. And presided over three projects of NSFC (one youth project and two general projects), one sub project of national key R & D plan, one national 863 major special project and one national science and technology support plan. The research results have been successfully applied to many domestic provincial power companies, and have won 5 provincial and ministerial awards, including Hubei Provincial Science and technology progress award, China Southern Power Grid Corporation Science and technology progress award, and China power industry informatization achievement award. Jointly publish 1 academic books, and publish / employ more than 90 papers in domestic and international academic journals and academic conferences, including more than 40 SCI papers.

Lei Shang has been a Lecturer in the Electrical Engineering and Automation, Wuhan University since 2020. He was received the B.Sc., M.Eng., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications (NUPT), Zhejiang University (ZJU) and Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), in 2008, 2011, and 2017, respectively. He was with Nari-Relays Electric Company, Ltd., Nanjing as an Engineer from 2011 to 2012, and with Institute of New Energy Wuhan (INEW) as a Project Manager from 2017 to 2020. He is the author/coauthor of more than 10 peer-reviewed technical papers and 5 issued/pending patents. His research is currently supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His current research interests in dynamic analysis and control of micro-grid with large-scale renewables.
