错失良机，用英语怎么表达

天助自助者 （god helps those who help themselves），同样地，机会属于时刻在准备的人。立刻停止无用的埋怨或嫉妒，增加前进的动力，不要等到错失良机后，再懊悔不已。
机会在英语中常见的表达是 chance 或 opporunity，其中 change 指做想做之事的适当时机，侧重指偶然或意外的机会，而 opportunity 指能够做某事或容易做成某事的机会，作此义解时常可与 chance 换用，例如：
chance:
He left and I missed my chance to say goodbye to him.
他走了，我错过了和他道别的机会。
It was his only chance/opportunity of escape.
这是他唯一的逃脱机会。
opportunity:
I used to love going out dancing, but I don't get much chance/opportunity now.
我以前很喜欢出去跳舞，但现在机会不多了。
There were more opportunities for graduates last year.
对去年的毕业生而言，就业机会要多一些。
因此表达错失良机可以用 miss (the/a/…) chance /pportunity；表机会时，它们都是可数名词，例如：

机不可失失不再来，如果遇到明显的机会，那么请一定要紧紧抓住；如果遇到不明显的机会，那么请一定更加努力。
