Here's a nice example of a cystic lesion in a pancreatic tail. Notice that it's T1 hypo intense, T2 bright, has some layering material within it which may represent protein or blood products. And I think just looking at the T1 and T2 weighted images would make it very easy to just suppose that you're likely dealing with perhaps an IPMN, side branch IPMN or even potentially a MCN(mucinous cystic neoplasm). But the key imaging feature in this case is the post gadolinium images. Notice that the post gadolinium images demonstrate that this is not a simple cyst, but rather demonstrates prominent remain enhancement, a feature that should always make you think about the possibility of a cystic neuroendocrine tumor which is exactly what this entity was.
