老板说“by Friday”是指周五当天还是周五前？

西外君的好朋友果果去年报了日语学习班，但它是有期限限制的，到这周五就结束了，课程上面提醒果果学习课程 by Friday。

果果一看，顿时慌了，因为她有段时间没跟课程学习了，在周四这天晚上连夜补课。

结果到了周五发现居然课程还在。

西外君想说，by friday可不是周五之前呀。

by Friday

英英释义： it means do this on any day up to and including the day specified

就是说by是指做一件事在某天之前或者包括那天。

I cannot finish this job by friday& you expect too much of me.

我星期五以前不能完成这项工作&你对我期望太高了。

before Friday

'after'的用法

after+一段时间(模糊时间)用来表达在这段时间之后

'in'的用法

in+一段时间(明确时间)可以用来表达一段时间结束

注意：after和in的使用：从某时说到多少时间以后，不用after，而用in。如果指“某个时刻，日期或事件以后”，用after。
