1. 《诗经》是我国第一部诗歌总集，收录了自西周至春秋时期描述百姓日常生活的诗歌。
Tip:
（1）“诗经”可以翻译为“the Classic of Poetry”，也可以直接用拼音Shi Jing；
（2）“总集”，表达诗歌，散文的选集可用anthology；
（3）“收录了”，可以表达为“give an account of…”,描述了，交待了…
（4）“从西周到春秋时期”，介词词组from….to….
2. 根据不同的韵律，《诗经》中的诗歌分为《风》《雅》《颂》三个部分。
Tip:
（1）“不同的韵律” different rhythms；
（2）“对…进行分类”可用动词categorize，这里显然应该用被动语态，诗经被分类；
（3）“风雅颂”，直接用拼音即可。
3. 《风》收录了各诸侯国的叙述诗歌，这些诗歌刻画了普通百姓的日常生活；
Tip:
（1）本句前半部分翻译较难，直接给出：

（2）后面的部分，是不是还是叙述诗歌的修饰啊，可以考虑使用非限制性定语从句。
（3）“刻画”这个词很有意思，查查词典应该怎么用。
4. 《雅》收录了描述宫廷生活、宴会和庆典的诗歌；
Tip:
这一句可以转换为“《雅》由宫廷生活、宴会和庆典组成”，仅供参考。
5. 《颂》收录了在隆重场合演唱的颂歌。
Tip:
（1）ode 颂歌，颂诗
（2）eulogy 颂词，颂文
（3）ceremonious occasion 隆重场合
6. 《诗经》以及儒家的“四书”被称为儒家经典。

1.经过相当长一段时间缓慢发展之后，中国的城市正迅速地向四面八方扩展开来。
翻译：After a rather long time of slow growth, the cities in China are expanding rapidly in every direction.
2.如今，中国城市人口正以每年7%的速度增长，而在某些大城市里则达到了每年10%的增长。
翻译：Nowadays, city population in China is increasing by 7 percent every year, and in some big cities the increasing rate reaches as high as 10 percent every year.

英译汉
