应微信网友“Fly-2018”的要求，讲讲“堵车”的相关英文说法。

1. 堵车叫traffic jams, 堵车时候心情是烦躁的，比如，I am really fed up with traffic jams, 堵车让我很心烦，be fed up with 感到厌烦；I was caught in a traffic jam, it is really frustrating 刚才遇上堵车，真沮丧，frustrating令人沮丧的；I am sorry that I am late, I was stuck in the traffic, 不好意思我迟到了，刚才遇到了堵车，be stuck in表示被卡住困住的意思；I am stuck in a dilemma like this, 我被卡在眼下进退两难的境地；dilemma进退两难的困境。

2. 走走停停叫做stop-and- go , Downtown traffic is stop-and-go, 市区的交通就是走走停停； bumper-to-bumper, bumper是汽车保险杠，保险杠挨着保险杠，堵不堵可想而知，It is bumper-to-bumper from morning till dark during holiday, 节日期间是从早到晚的堵啊。

3. 高峰时段，rush hour,成龙有个电影叫《尖峰时刻》的翻译就是rush hour, 也指早晚高峰期。Traffic is always a mess during rush hours,高峰时期，交通很糟糕，mess就是一团糟的意思。The traffic is moving at a snail’s pace during rush hours, 高峰期，车辆行驶如蜗牛的速度。
