SOLAS 救生筏

SOLAS LIFERAFTS

The liferaft is constructed from a rubbercompound and/or a synthetic material. There are two separate buoyancy chambersor tubes, either of which alone is designed to be capable of supporting thecomplete liferaft with all its emergency equipment and a full complement ofsurvivors.

In SOLAS liferafts, to assist in providingprotection against adverse temperatures, the floor is doubled and is capable ofbeing inflated; the canopy is also doubled with an air gap between the innerand outer wall. The canopy is erected automatically by an arch or centre columnwhich is inflated, with the buoyancy tubes, by a CO2 / Nitrogen charge storedin a steel pressure cylinder under the floor.

The canopy, coloured orange, is fitted withrain water collection points and lights are fitted both inside and outside.

Grab lines are becketed around the insideand outside of the liferaft and the entrances are provided with means ofassisting survivors to board. The entrances, when closed, are capable ofmaintaining the interior of the liferaft in a dry condition. Look-out pointsare provided in the canopy.

在救生筏底部装备有扶正绳或扶正梯，用于救生筏充气后或其他原因发生 颠覆时进行扶正。有些船舶配备自动扶正救生筏。

On the underside of the liferaft is a rightingline or ladder for use in righting the liferaft should it inflate in theinverted position, or be capsized for any reason. Some types of vessel may befitted with self-righting liferafts.

吊放式救生筏除符合 SOLAS 抛投式救生筏的所有特征外，另外还应具备 结实的带子或绳子装置使其可以用吊钩悬吊起来。这种装置的强度应大到足以允许救生筏满员后吊放入水。

A davit-launched liferaft incorporates allthe features of a SOLAS throw over liferaft with the addition of a webbing orrope arrangement which allows it to be suspended from a davit hook. Thisarrangement is strong enough to allow the liferaft to be loaded to its fullcomplement of survivors and then lowered to the water.
