Several cities across China have recently started offering a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine developed by the Chinese company CanSino Biologics. The vaccines have been provided to Shanghai, Beijing and Tianjin, as well as Zhejiang, Henan and Anhui provinces. The new vaccine is also injected (注射) into muscle tissue (组织) and is as safe and effective as other vaccines in use.

5月25日，华为公司宣布将于6月2日晚正式公布适用于手机的鸿蒙操作系统。鸿蒙为开源操作系统，为多种设备和场景设计打造。此前，华为于2019年8月首次发布这一系统，当时可应用于智慧屏、平板电脑、可穿戴设备及车机等平台。华为预计，2021年底搭载鸿蒙系统的设备数量将达3亿多台，其中华为设备超过2亿台。
Chinese telecom giant Huawei will officially launch its new operating system HarmonyOS for smartphones on June 2, the company said Tuesday. HarmonyOS, or Hongmeng in Chinese, is an open-source operating system designed for various devices and scenarios. It was first launched on Internet-of-Things devices including wearables and tablets in August 2019. Huawei expects the number of devices equipped with HarmonyOS to reach 300 million by the end of 2021, including more than 200 million for Huawei devices.

民航局日前印发实施《民航行业塑料污染治理工作计划（2021-2025年）》，提出以机场和航空公司为塑料污染治理重点。民航局表示，明年起，国内客运航班将禁止提供一次性不可降解塑料吸管、餐具、包装袋等用品。年旅客吞吐量200万（含）人次以上机场从明年起也将禁止使用此类用品，2023年起实施范围将进一步扩展至全国机场和国际客运航班。到2025年，民航行业一次性不可降解塑料制品消费强度较2020年大幅下降。
China will ban the use of disposable plastic packaging bags, tableware and straws made from non-degradable materials on domestic flights starting next year, the Civil Aviation Administration of China said. Airports with an annual throughput of at least 2 million passengers will also stop providing such products next year, and the ban will be extended to all airports and international passenger flights in 2023, the administration said. By 2025, the consumption of disposable non-degradable plastic in the civil aviation industry will decline sharply from the 2020 level.
