山坡羊·骊山怀古

骊山四顾，阿房一炬，

当时奢侈今何处？

只见草萧疏，水萦纡。

至今遗恨迷烟树。

列国周齐秦汉楚。

赢，都变做了土；

输，都变做了土。

张养浩（1270-1329），汉族，字希孟，号云庄，济南（今山东省济南市）人，元代著名政治家，文学家。代表作品有《三事忠告》，散曲《山坡羊·潼关怀古》等。

ZHANG Yanghao (1270-1329), a Han Chinese, styled Admiring Mencius, Cloud Village by literary name, a native of Jinan (present-day Jinan, Shandong Province). He was a well-known statesman and litterateur of the Yuan dynasty. His representative works include Three Pieces of Sincere Advice and a lyrics-music Cherishing the Past at Tong Pass—To the Tune of Hillside Sheep.（刘鸿儒译）

I gaze from Mt. Steed higher

At O Pang set on fire.

Where are the luxuries, where have they gone?

One can only see grass wither, and water purl on.

I’m aggrieved at the misty trees today

And the states Chough, Qi, Qin, Han in array.

Gain, all has fallen down to decay;

Loss, all has fallen down to decay.
