Jim Croce，1943年1月10日出生，是一位来自南费城的美国创作型歌手，他的单曲《Bad, Bad Leroy Brown》在1973年夏天登上了美国音乐排行榜的第一名。1973年9月30日，Croce在飞往演出地的途中，所乘飞机不幸坠毁，机上六人全部遇难，遇难者包括莫里·穆里森（Maury Muehleisen），他在Croce的专辑中弹吉他。
