3.17.7harm变形组记

【表示“否定”的后缀-less】后缀-less表示否定源于单根词less，less是little的比较级，表示“较少的；更少的”，由少而无，逐渐表示否定。-less有两层含义：

-less=without没有；无

-less=not doing；not affected by不做；不受影响

注意两个词词义的区别：priceless无价的, 极贵重的（price价格）

valueless无价值的（value价值）

【harm变形组记】

(1) harmless ['hɑ:mlis] a. 无害的， 无恶意的 【 harm [hɑ:m] n./v.危害，伤害】

(2) harmful ['hɑ:mfʊl] a. 有害的

(3) charm [tʃɑ:m] n. 魔力， 魅力 v. 吸引， 使……着迷

(4) farm [fɑ:m] n. 农场

(5) alarm [ə'lɑ:m] n. 警报；警报器；担心 v.发警报

(6) warm [wɔ:m] a. 暖和的；热心的 v. 变暖，温暖
