一，经文持而盈之，不如其已。揣(chuāi)而棁（zhuō）之，不可长保。金玉满堂，莫之能守。富贵而骄，自遗（yí）其咎。功成身退，天之道也。二，经文释义抓持某些东西却多得都滑脱出来，不如尽早打住。怀揣某些东西却重得需要支撑，这些东西难以长久保全。金玉满堂，没有能守护住的。富贵骄横，自种祸根。事情做成了而不居功，此乃天道。三，英译If you hold something and it's too much and even slips out, it's better to stop at the earliest opportunity.If you have something in your arms and it's too heavy and even needs support, it's hard to keep it for a long time.Gold and jade fill the hall, but no one can guard and have them all the time.To be arrogant with wealth and power is the seed of the disaster you are planting for yourself.Don’t take credit when your work is done, such is Heaven’s way.
