3.2 同一名词作可数名词与不可数名词的意义差别

1. 某些名词作可数名词和不可数名词时的意义变化

某些名词在不同场合下可分别用作不可数名词或可数名词，分别表示不同的意义。例如:

She complained that her boss had sether too much work.

她抱怨老板结她布置太多的工作。

结构分析：She是主语，complained是谓语（过去一般时），that引导宾语从句，her boss是主语，had set是谓语（过去完成时），her是间接宾语，too much work是直接宾语。

This is an unusual work of art.

这是一件不寻常的艺术作品。

结构分析：This是主语，isan unusual work of art是系表型谓语（is是系动词，an unusual work of art是名词词组作表语）。
