每个人都曾听过看过或者经历过一些有意义的事情，有书英语共读带着大家一起用英文讲故事，“6句话故事”。

熊叔的故事： 01
It's been ten years since I last saw her.
I met someone that looked exactly like her, only supposely younger.
She told me she was her sister, and now the mother of two kids.
I told her I was still single and I still missed her.
She told me to move on and try to enjoy my life while I still can.
And I suddenly remembered that she didn't have a sister, only a brother.
距离上次和她见面，已经十年。
突然遇见一个跟她长得很像的人，但比她年轻；
这个人告诉我是她的妹妹，已经是两个孩子的妈妈；
“我还单身呢，很想她。”我说。
她告诉我向前看，趁来得及去享受生活吧……
突然，我想起来，她并没有妹妹，只有一个弟弟……

I was preparing dinner when I heard a knock on the door.
But when I went to answer the door, there was no one.
When I went back to the kitchen, I heard the knock again, only this time it was from the window.
I went to the window, and found a shadow.
I was sure there was someone murmuring to me.
It was then that I realized, that I was living on the 13th floor...
正准备晚餐，听到敲门声，
去开门发现门外并没有人；
回到厨房，声音又想起了，但这次是从窗户传来的。
我走到窗前，看到一个黑影；
