Skydiving, many people just lose all their courage and guts when they hear the word at the first time. Moreover, skydiving without no parachute or any assistance is more shocking and terrible. On July 30th of 2016 local time, the American skydiver Luke Aikins finished the challenge of skydiving at 7,620 meters without parachute in Simi Valley of California. And he succeeded to land safely in the prepared safety net which is of square shapes with 30 meters’ length and width. Hearing the news, it rocked the whole word. And, Aikins has shown the world that he is the fearless warrior!

As reported, Aikins and his team has spent nearly two years making preparations for the skydiving. However, their skydiving plan almost failed. Before his jumping, he was required to carry the parachute when jumping out of the cabin by the safety directives by the concerned authorities. Whereas, the extra weight of the parachute package would increase the risk of his safe landing. But, a few minutes before Aikins’ skydiving, the event organizer agreed to cancel the safety directive.

Aikins, who was born in a skydiving family, he started to skydive all by himself when he was sixteen. At present, his successful skydiving records has been for over 18,000 times. And this skydiving was the most difficult one he had experienced. In the air, his free falling has lasted about two minutes and the highest speed was up to 193 km/h. During the very thrilling two minutes, Aikins tried to continue to adjust and control his body to keep balance, and he had to make sure the very accurate landing precision. Or, the results couldn’t be imaginable if there is something wrong with that.

Aikins’s spokesman said, “This successful skydiving without any parachute of Aikins is the accomplishment of his 26 years’ accumulation and it is the highest and greatest world record. Absolutely, it is no doubt that this success is the top culmination in Aikins’ career. At the meanwhile, Aikins has left a significant chapter in the skydiving history!

After finished the skydiving, Aikins kept in a very great condition and he didn’t need the doctor’s help. Subsequently, he embraced his wife, his son and his relatives. Once Aikins said, “I am clear about the extra risks during skydiving in my heart. Maybe you will never see your beloved family members if you take risk. Perhaps almost 90 percent of the population in the world feel like it is not worthy of taking the risk. However, it is part of my life!” And Aikins himself considered this skydiving as the moat crazy and exciting risk that he has taken!

Once Aikins said that even though he knew there’s a stereotype of crazy gays of extreme sports as holding the positions “I don’t care if I could live or die ”. But that’s not him. He could survive from the challenge. Rather than regard him as the confident one, I would rather think highly of his well-organized and elaborate preparations for the challenge.

艾金斯曾说过，尽管自己见识过那种“不在乎死活”的运动员，但那大部分都是屌丝徒手搏命，那不是他自己。他能活着完成挑战！与其说他自信，不如说他为这些挑战到底做了多少准备。
