2018全球新晋10位葡萄酒大师名单揭晓（附大师简介）
英国葡萄酒大师协会再添10位葡萄酒大师，全球葡萄酒大师人数增至380人。
近日，英国葡萄酒大师协会（Institute of Masters of Wine，简称IMW）宣布了2018年新晋的十位葡萄酒大师（Masters of Wine，简称MW）成员，他们中4人来自英国，3人来自美国，剩下的分别来自加拿大、西班牙和荷兰。其中包括了第一位希腊裔女性酿酒师、西班牙首位获得大师头衔的女性酿酒师以及史上最年轻的葡萄酒大师。

Almudena Alberca是西班牙首位荣获葡萄酒大师称号的女性，从农业工程学专业毕业后继续深造，随后取得酒类研究学的学士学位与葡萄栽培学的硕士学位。在新西兰酒业翘楚——新玛利庄园（Villa Maria Estate）收购的维达尔庄园（Vidal Estate）开始她的第一份酿酒工作后，她便开始周游世界各地的葡萄酒产区。Almudena Alberca在位于西班牙萨莫拉的Viñas de Cenit酒庄以精品葡萄酒酿酒师的身份入行，此后从酿酒师助理晋升至管理整个酿酒厂的职位。

Barbara Drew MW（英国）
2011年，Barbara Drew在英国皇室御用酒商Berry Bros. & Rudd入行，于活动部任职。目前，她的主要工作包括在Berry Bros. & Rudd的众多酒窖里协调与主持一系列活动，其中包括入门级葡萄酒课程、深度品鉴会、大师课程、晚宴、午宴、一日学校及葡萄酒与烈酒教育基金会（即WSET）课程等。
除葡萄酒之外，她亦涉足谷物酒领域，主办与烈酒相关的各类活动。

Olga Karapanou Crawford MW（美国）
Olga Karapanou Crawford是一位定居于加州纳帕的葡萄酒顾问与酿酒师，她是被赋予葡萄酒大师头衔的首位女性希腊酿酒师，同时也是第3个获此殊荣的希腊籍人士。Olga Karapanou Crawford在酿酒世家出生、长大，自小便打下葡萄栽培与酒类研究方面的坚实基础。
她曾为嘉露酒厂（E&J Gallo Winery）、玛尔卡森酒庄（Marcassin Vineyards）与雅克劳斯酒庄（Achaia Clauss）等公司效力，现任职于Penrose Hill Ltd。

Regine Lee MW（英国）
Regine Lee曾在德勤（Deloitte）会计事务所担任经营管理顾问一职，不过，她后来决定改行从事葡萄酒行业的工作。她曾效力于WSET，负责为其开发亚太地区的市场，而目前，她则在自由人葡萄酒公司（Liberty Wines）主管国内客户销售事宜，且同时参与到该公司的运营、交易营销、教育及销售分析等方面的事务当中来。

Elsa Macdonald MW（加拿大）
早前，Elsa Macdonald一直在电子通讯与金融领域担任经营管理顾问的角色，直至2003年，她决定听从自己内心对葡萄酒的热爱，并且转行。
Elsa Macdonald现任Arterra Wines Canada的葡萄酒教育总监一职，她与来自全国各地的侍酒师、WSET的学生以及葡萄酒领域的专家等同道中人一起分享她丰富的知识与高涨的热忱。

Thomas Parker MW（英国）
目前最年轻的世界葡萄酒大师——在牛津大学进修现代语言学时，Thomas Parker就已经涉足葡萄酒行业。2011年，Thomas Parker在英国法尔葡萄酒商（Farr Vintners）就职，如今他已是该公司的专业买手。除了这份固定工作外，他还参与到波尔多、勃艮第、纳帕谷等产区的葡萄收成酿造的工作中。

Lindsay Pomeroy MW（美国）
在意大利居住时，Lindsay Pomeroy开始对葡萄酒行业产生兴趣。她对葡萄酒的真正热爱开始于加州圣地亚哥，也就是她现在定居的地方。在这里Lindsay Pomeroy创立了提供WSET课程和法国葡萄酒学者课程（FWS，French Wine Scholar）的教育培训学校—— Wine Smarties，并担任了12年的导师。

Nicolas Quillé MW（美国）
Nicolas Quillé出生里昂，家族三代人都在从事葡萄酒事业。他已取得勃艮第第戎大学（University of Dijon）酿造硕士学位、法国兰斯大学(University of Reims)起泡酒管理院研究生学位、西雅图华盛顿大学（University of Washington）的工商管理硕士（MBA）学位。
Nicolas Quillé在葡萄酒行业的工作经验超过25年，主要从事葡萄酒酿造、质量监控、酒庄管理、产品管理、酒庄并购等工作，同时他也是许多葡萄酒大赛的评委和嘉宾。如今，Nicolas Quillé在位于加州纳帕的Crimson Wine Group葡萄酒集团担任首席酿酒师及运营主管。

Job de Swart MW（荷兰）
目前为止Job de Swart是第三个获得葡萄酒大师称号的荷兰人。虽然大学期间，他的专业是国际工商管理，但葡萄酒始终是Job de Swart的最大爱好。所以毕业后他还曾在荷兰葡萄酒学院（Dutch Wine Academy）进一步学习，并在加利福尼亚大学的葡萄栽培与酿造学院实习。
Job de Swart曾在美人鱼庄园（Chateau Giscours）和图润酒庄(De Toren)当过酿酒工。如今，他是 Les Généreux（由38个独立精品葡萄酒酒商组成的协会）的专业买手和营销专员。

Tim Triptree MW （英国）
Tim Triptree现担任佳士得(CHRISTIE'S) 葡萄酒拍卖的国际总监，主要工作有拍卖策划、销售策划、葡萄酒拍卖执行、采购寄售、甄别拍卖品、发展客户关系、举办品酒会和大师班等。
Tim Triptree最开始在银行工作，在门多萨居住时完成了侍酒师的课程。他还曾获得雪莉学院（Sherry Institute）、星座集团（Constellation）和Trinity香槟的奖学金。
