3.2 同一名词作可数名词与不可数名词的意义差别

4.表示自然现象的名词用作单数可数名词

有些不可数名词，特别是表示自然现象的名词，常可以和不定冠词和形容词连用，表示单数概念。例如：

a thick fog一片浓雾

例句：Your eye is like being in a very thick fog patch. You just can't see anything.

眼睛就好像被浓雾遮住了一样，什么都看不见。

结构分析：Your eye是主语，is like being in a very thick fog patch是系表型谓语（is是系动词，like being in a very thick fog patch是表语）。You是主语，just can't see是谓语，anything是宾语。

a great fire一场大火

例句：There must have been agreat fire.

一定是发生了大火灾。

结构分析：There must have been是系表型谓语（There是表语，must have been是系动词词组），a great fire是主语。
