TRAINING: As it relates to this checklist, training is the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies as a result of the teaching of vocational or practical skills and knowledge that relate to specific useful competencies. Basically, learning the skills necessary to perform the process. Both classroom and hands-on / practical may be required. Training can be evaluated and approved by a mentor (i.e. qualified operator / inspector) or Certified IPC Trainer (CIT).
VERIFICATION: Confirmation by examination and provision of objective evidence that specified requirements for a particular device or activity at hand have been met.
