那翻墙而出的花朵，带着一种不顾反对
也要自己去发现这世界的热情
像姐姐不顾父母反对也要嫁给她喜欢的人
他们开垦荒地，承包鱼塘
在院墙下种蔷薇和玫瑰
他们拥有的幸福一定超过了
那来不及进行的赞美
多年后我仍能从姐姐身上看到
这种赞美的愿望，有一次旅行
在宾馆房间，她麻利地收拾妥当
又找来一只玻璃瓶
注满水，将一枝开到酒店院墙外
被雨打落的玫瑰，插了进去
她还是喜欢这种不顾一切的花朵
好像她从未因此，而守寡多年

The blossoms on the wall suggest a life too short to wait for applause.The flowers that climb out of the fence are too defiantto hold themselves back from the wonders of the world,just like my sister, going against our parents’ wish to marry her sweetheart.They plowed the heath, managed a fish pond,and surrounded their courtyard with big roses and small roses.Their happiness outpaced the compliments too slow to come.Many years later I could stillsee her indifference to approval. During a trip together,she deftly tidied up our hotel room,filled it with water, and went outside the hotel courtyardto pick up a rose being battered by the rain.She still likes those single-minded flowers,like them, she knows herself, and remains a widow for many years.
