1、Mrs. Smith's kitchen is small.
1）注意Mrs的音标为['mɪsɪz]。
2）注意kitchen is前后可以连读。
3）注意is中的s（/z/）和small中的s（/s/）前后属于相似音相邻，所以可以只发后面的small中的s（/s/）。
2、There is a refrigerator in the kitchen. The refrigerator is white. It is on the right.
1）注意there is a前后两两可以连读，即there is和is a可以连读。
2）注意refrigerator in可以连读。
3）注意refrigerator is可以连读。
4）注意it is on前后两两可以连读，即it is和is on可以连读。
3、There is an electric cooker in the kitchen. The cooker is blue. It is on the left.
1）注意there is an electric前后两两可以连读，即there is、is an和an electric可以连读。
2）注意electric中第二个c因为后接辅音，会发生爆破音的消失现象。
3）注意cooker is可以连读。
4）注意it is on前后两两可以连读，it is和is on可以连读。
4、There is a table in the middle of the room.
1）注意there is a前后两两可以连读，即there is和is a可以连读。
2）注意如果读得快的话，table in可以连读。
3）注意middle of前后可以连读。
5、There is a bottle on the table. The bottle is empty.
1）注意there is a前后两两可以连读，即there is和is a可以连读。
2）注意bottle on可以连读。
3）注意bottle is empty前后两两可以连读，即bottle is和is empty可以连读。
6、There is a cup on the table, too. The cup is clean.
1）注意there is a前后两两可以连读，即there is和is a可以连读。
2）注意cup on可以连读。
3）注意cup is可以连读。
