美女与野兽中她是美女，但她更是个“奇怪的女孩”

真人版将贝儿与小羊一起看书改编成了贝儿教小姑娘读书，可能是我最喜欢的改编细节啦～（截图源自b站）

之前写过一篇《迪士尼用14部电影告诉女孩什么是“公主”-🎬❤️🌍》，今天想多讨论的一点儿贝儿，这个有点儿不合时宜的、奇怪孤僻的“公主”。

一开篇就要坦白本篇文章的观点以及我的个人喜好都是偏心艾玛的，从赫敏开始就是如此，而且我也确实觉得这两个角色如艾玛·沃森所说有很多相似之处。

I need to confess my preference over Emma Watson since Hermione Granger. And from my point of view, Belle and Hermione are common in the most significant part.

在一次采访中，艾玛自己也坦言：

个人而言源自法国童话的美女与野兽中的美女（贝儿belle在法文中中就是美女的意思）有很多并不让我太喜欢的设定，但有一点恐怕所有的其他角色都比拟不上，无论是以嫁人为目的的经典公主形象还是以救人为目的其他公主形象，据我所知，只有贝儿的人物设定中有强化爱读书这一点。

Personally the Belle in Beauty and Beast is not my favorite princess,  but there is one outstanding feature which is unique. Belle is more interested in reading books than getting married or being a savior. Maybe I missed some, by now Belle is the only princess as a book lover.

动画中野兽送给贝儿的礼物就是城堡里的图书馆

毫无疑问，贝儿是目前14部公主电影里最“腹有诗书气自华”的一位乡村姑娘。所以，手不释卷的艾玛选择来阐释这个公主，根本就是放大自己的一部分吧，有一点本色出演，或者说她的成长轨迹本来就受到1991年那部经典之作的影响。

Therefore, Belle is the best-read countryside girl who became a princess due to her inner and outer beauty. No one would ever doubt a similar book-lover Emma in choosing this princess to inspire more girls. In other words, she is playing herself, the self being influenced and shaped by the 1991 cartoon.

之前在一个叫做“朗易思听”的app里看到艾玛的采访，提到自己小时候对于这部电影的痴迷：

I found Emma's interview on an app, talking about her addiction to this classical movie:

I have love Beauty and the Beast since I was about four years old. She was this feisty young woman who spoke her mind, had all of these ambitions, and wanted to see the world. Her relationship with Beast was  just toe to toe. That to me just seemed like such a dynamic and interesting.

从我四岁起，《美女与野兽》就是我的最爱，我记忆中的贝儿是一个充满活力并且敢于表达自我的年轻女性，她渴望去看看这个世界。她与野兽之间的关系是争锋相对的。对我来说，这种关系的乐趣与活力都妙不可言。

最后想从野兽扮演者大表哥在采访时说过的一段话来谈谈这个故事的另一层深意：

This story is not only for beauty and ugliness, it is more on how to balance our inner beaty and beast.

这个故事并不是仅仅关于美丽与丑陋，而更多是关于我们每个人身体里的美好与兽性以及学会如何去平衡它们。
