Purpose
This content is created to clarify how transaction CO06 works.
Overview
Using backorder processing, you can list sales documents relevant for requirements for particular materials and confirm them manually. You can assign available-to-promise (ATP) stock to outstanding order quantities. In addition, you can withdraw already confirmed quantities and reassign them to different items.
Confirmations in CO06.
Quantities allocated to sales orders can be changed with CO06. CO06 allows to reduce confirmed quantities of sales orders and to increase the quantity to the desired one.
- It is not possible to confirm a larger quantity than the one that was requested.
- Only sales orders can be manipulated. Other requirements are displayed only.
- Changes have to be in line with ATP-quantities.
- Confirmation dates (MBDAT) can be changed in confirmed schedule lines.
Note: - It is no longer possible to change items with product selection using transaction CO06. Behaviour has been changed with note number 1488638 .
