我喜欢明净的窗户
看你喜欢的枫叶
亮亮地张望着
枫叶呵枫叶
就这个样子
我们坐在一条板凳上
干净地说出我们曾经的隐私
担心最黑暗的日子我们挺不过来
担心飘下来的树叶不偏不倚砸在我们的头上
假如有人写信
在这个秋天
写上枫叶的名字
与经历一样
那个时候我们的想象只有枫叶
我们渴望着枫林里有阳光
照在我们身上
我们用枫叶比喻生活
比喻上好的心情
苦难的日子
就这个样子
我们相互对望
不怀疑
不妄想
很像那个时候的枫叶
我们每一次的快乐和向往
都要用一样的心情
悄悄地等待

I Love Your Maple Leaves

I like clean windows
From which I can see your favourite maple leaves
Peering out brilliantly
Oh those maple leaves...
It was like this
We were sitting on a bench
Speaking openly about intimate matters from our past
Worried about making it through the darkest days
Worried about the falling leaves landing impartially on our heads
If someone were to write a letter
This autumn
Mentioning the name ‘maple leaf’
It would be tantamount to reliving that time
Back then, all we could think about were maple leaves
We longed for the sun in the maple grove
To shine down on us
The maple leaf became our metaphor for life
In times of well-being
And times of great misery
It was like this
We looked at each other
Without hesitation
Without a second thought
Much like the maple leaves back then
We felt the same way sharing
Every moment of happiness and yearning
Waiting in silence
For the sky to burst into a peal of spring thunder

罗曼简介
罗曼 （笔名“海门）斯科特是作家和翻译家。她在欧洲长大，会说多种语言，现在和家人住在澳大利亚。毕业于悉尼大学，三十多年来，她对中国文化产生了极大的尊重和热爱，经常到中国去拜访她的许多艺术家朋友。翻译一些值得注意的中国诗人的作品也是她的一大乐趣和荣幸。
Romaine Scott is a writer and translator. She grew up in Europe, speaking a number of languages and now lives in Australia with her family. A graduate of the University of Sydney, she has, over thirty years, developed a great respect and love for Chinese culture, frequently travelling to China to visit her many artist friends. It has also been her great joy and privilege to translate the work of several notable Chinese poets.
