How the story began?

In 2007, the skillful Allison came into limelight.

She was a senior in high school when her world turned around: during a competition, out of the blue, her pictures were posted online.

Allison became a sensation within seconds. Her picture turned to become a sensation all over.

Allison soon became a national obsession and she started to collect a plethora of fans.

They were enamored with this beautiful young girl.

The situation got out of control quickly and she grabbed a lot of attention.

Keeping her Pace low
The consequences of excess attention are numerous.

She tried to manage them all by herself, but very soon she realized that she needs assistance.

Thus, Allison decided to hire a manager.

Plenty of phone calls and emails were directed toward her on a daily basis.

Things escalated very fast and she felt overwhelmed.

The Attempt of Shifting the attention
Allison was desperate to divert people’s attention from her looks to her sports performance.

This attempt was a total waste.

Allison tried to keep things in control and remain unaffected by this situation.

It was a hard thing to accomplish because of the number of fans that followed her everywhere she went.

In the end, she had to admit that her psychological health was affected.

Affected by all of this, Allison found a solution.

She continued to do what she loves the most – pole vaulting, but not in the same way.

Allison pulled back from social media and her focus was on university.

Of course, she was very good at her sport of choice so she managed to get a scholarship easily.

She studied in California, where she was born.

Staying Dominant
Allison was balancing studying and setting records very well.

She consulted her coach about training so she can continue to be on the top.

That was an achievement when she vaulted higher than ever.

Along with sports, she remained to exceed in studies.

Allison succeeded to graduate with a well-deserved master’s degree in sociology.

Significant Experience
After all of that unwanted attention, she grew into a strong and tough woman.

Allison survived countless problems that would destroy many of us.

She deserves the place where she is now.

It was not an easy job to do, at all, but she made it.

Helping people get interested in this sport is an important thing to her and we are all grateful for the knowledge that she gives us.
