train是火车，所以火车站的英文是train station，这也是最常见的表达。train包括各种有轨道的车站，大部分情况都可以用它来说明，但是train station不一定每次都是火车站的意思，也有可能是地铁。更常见的表达是railway station。
railway station相较于train station在英国的使用频率绝对是更高的。如果一个英国人听到另一个英国人把“火车站”叫作train station，八成心里都在暗暗地骂他是美国主义。
railway是铁轨的意思，所以railway station就是火车站，我们也可以说rail station。
而在真实的日常生活中提到火车站一般都是直接说某某站
比如阿姆斯特丹中央车站就是Amsterdam Central station
