Pinot's works focus on warmth, nostalgia, love and family. His works are often taken on the sunny Mediterranean beach, which is the typical image of the place where he grew up at that time. Pino Daeni (1939-2010) was born in Bari, Italy. He received training at the Art Institute of Bari and later the Academy of brea in Milan, improved his figure painting skills, and was deeply influenced by the pre raphaelites and Macchiaioli.
After Pino became a successful artist in his native country, he decided to immigrate to the United States to seek further artistic freedom and opportunities. He was soon discovered by the famous Borghi Gallery, which held several famous exhibitions on his works in New York and Boston.
Pinot's early paintings, characterized by soft and romantic characters, attracted the attention of major book publishers Dale and zebra books. In 1980, zebra commissioned him to make the cover of his first book. His popularity grew rapidly in the literary world.
He became a demand artist for Zebra, Bantam, Simon and Schuster, harlequin, Penguin USA and Dell. In the following decades, Pinot drew illustrations for the covers of more than 3000 books, and his unique style dominated the market.
