英语作文大众传媒的弊处

With the ever-accelerated updating of science and technology,mass media is becoming increasingly popular,the phenomenon of which has aroused wide social concern.Some people hold the belief that it bring convenience to us,while others think it exert negative effects on our daily lives.From my perspective ,the mass media has its merits and demerits.

When it comes to its disadvantages,one needed to pay attention to is that it may spread rumours.For example,sometimes we receive some bad news about a famous star,but later it is proved to be false.Not only will rumour bring us false information,but also it may hurt people related to it.A further demerit is that it may distract us when we are working.There is no denying that if we chat with others through WeChat when doing our job,our working efficiency will decline.Finally, it is also detrimental to our eyes.If we spend too long staring at the digital equipment,it may cause some harm to our eyes.

From my perspective,while the mass media has some demerits,the popularity of it can make us get information more quickly,which is surely conductive to us.It is undeniable that only when we exploit to the full its favorable conditions and avoid unfavorable ones can we use it more properly.
