I wanted to tell you my amazing（超棒的）story. My friends and I have literally saved our local zoo（当地动物园）that was threatened with closure（面临关闭风险）due to（因为） Covid-19.
In just five days, we have set up an appeal（呼吁）and collected（收集）and delivered（运送）enough food and bedding to feed the 1,000 animals at our local zoo for two weeks.
We have also raised（筹集）2,124 pounds, which has also been donated（捐赠）to the zoo.
We have just launched（发起）a new collection and have already got another fourvan-loads of food ready for delivery.

这是我一段超棒的经历。我和朋友们拯救了当地因新冠流行差点儿关闭的动物园。
