3.4 名词的复数

1. 名词复数构成

可数名词一般有两种形式：单数和复数。构成名词复数的方法：规则变化和不规则变化。

（1）名词复数的规则变化

名词复数规则变化如下：

3）-s，-x，-ch，-sh等结尾的名词，在词尾加-es。例如：

class — classes班级

The class needs a minimum of six students to continue.       这个班最少需要六名学生才可以继续办下去。

结构分析：The class是主语，needs是谓语，现在一般时，a minimum of six students是宾语，to continue是主语补语。

brush — brushes刷子

You can buy brushes, paint, varnish and suchlike there.

你在那儿能买到刷子、油漆、清漆之类的东西。

结构分析：You是主语，can buy是谓语，brushes, paint, varnish and suchlike是宾语，there是状语。
