The Basic Concept of SEO

提及SEO,大多数人都听过,却很少有人懂SEO。

Many of us have heard about SEO, but seldom do we know much about it.

SEO, 其实是Search Engine Optimization的缩写。(也就是搜索引擎优化)

SEO is short for Search Engine Optimization.

其实,SEO是针对于搜索引擎做出的工作。

In fact, SEO is done mainly against Search Engines.

很多人觉得SEO非常的复杂,非常的难。

Many people believe that SEO is very complicated and difficult.

其实,真正重要的是要在日常中去实践。

Actually, the thing really matters is to bring it into your daily schedule.

它主要是针对关键词做出的策略性调整,帮助内容更快速更顺利的被搜索引擎收录。

It is mainly kinda strategic adjustment against keywords so the content can be included by search engines smoothly and fast.

SEO包括你拥有的或负责操作的站内和站外的优化,而重点就是引流。

SEO is the optimization within or outside the sites you own or operates on. The point is to bring visits to the sites.

虽然现在很多人已经开始意识到SEO的重要性,并且开始操作了,但是他们的工作还是有很多问题。

Though many people have realized the importance of SEO and begun to operate with it, many problems exist in their work.

比如我们大多通过关键词工具寻找关键词,不假思索,就去利用,这样其实是对SEO很不好的。

For example, we search keywords mainly by some tools and use them without any considerations, which is not so good for SEO.

我们应该根据产品使用者的搜索习惯去寻找关键词。

We should go search the keywords based on the searching habits of the users of the products.

还有一个问题就是,很多人喜欢抄袭别人的东西,放到自己的站点,这是非常糟糕的。

Another problem is, many people like writing their own sites with ready content from others, which is very terrible.

搜索引擎喜欢原创的东西,不喜欢你抄袭来的别人的东西。

Search engines like the original things, rather than the ones you copy from others.

高质量的内容能给你的站点带来更多的流量。

High-quality content can bring your sites more visits.

Of course, if you wanna see the results fast, go get the paid keywords ranking service.

现在很多第三方公司也提供代理优化管理企业的网站。

Now, many third-party companies provide enterprises with paid service to optimize and manage the sites on behalf of them.

但是,有些提供这些服务的公司做的真的很烂,我想,我的其中一个学员深有体会吧。

However, some companies with such service are very terrible, which I think, one of my students has experienced much of that.

我给他的网站指出了很多问题,而这个网站已经被一个第三方公司代理运营好几年了。

I pointed out many problems on his website, which has been operated by a third party service company for years.

他自己一直奇怪为何没有效果,却看不出什么问题。

He is much curious about the negative effect from this site, but no problems has he figured out.

一年花费几千甚至几上万,在他们操作的你的站点上,却存在诸多问题,但是你不懂SEO,所以你自己可能永远看不出什么。

You have to pay them thousands of or ten thousands of RMB for this service, but never will you see the existing problems there on your sites they operate on, coz you have no ideas about SEO.

就如同我和自己学员一直说的,你可以不自己去建站,但是必须懂一些基本的概念。

Just like what I always say to my students, you don't have to build the websites on your own, but you've got to know some basic concept of that.
