Difficult 形容事情时,意为”困难的;费力的;难做的;难解的“,常跟不定式搭配为 difficult (for sb) (to do sth),相当于 hard,不过 difficult 比较正式,例如:
1. difficult (for sb) to do sth:
It's really difficult to read your writing.
Your writing is really difficult to read.
She finds it very difficult to get up early.
2. hard
It's hard to say which of them is lying.
It's hard being a single mother.
Her handwriting is very hard to read.
We were asked lots of difficult questions.
I had to make a very difficult decision.
1. difficult:
Don't pay any attention to her; she's just being difficult.
I had a feeling you were going to be difficult about this.
