(eg. shoulders…) (Ss start to describe their body)T: Well done. Does a penguin have a head? (eg. Giraffe-neck)Ss: Yes.T: Great! What do they do with their body parts? This is the book we are going to read.1.Music-Head, shoulders, knees and toes1阅读中20 minsFirst, read the story rhythmically. During reading, teacher can ask some questions about the story, and practice the actions.Suggested questions:What do you see?What’s this?What are they doing?What animal is it?What can you do with your hands/ neck?What will happen next?Can you show me your …?How many toes do you have?From head to toe2阅读后25 mins1.Bubble gumT will give an order:”Bubble gum, bubble gum, hands to hands.”Then, students will put their hands together and say the sentence pattern-They are hands.2.PuzzlesT need to prepare several body parts cards, asks Ss what it is ot what they are? Then Ss can put these cards together and make a picture.3.I am an artistT will divide Ss into 2 groups, and let them have a competition about drawing body parts.T: One student from each group need to draw a card and draw it on the floor. The group that finishes first wins.4.Little teacherChoose a student to be a teacher, this little teacher will give instructions to others.
