When our client, Herschend Family Entertainment, wanted to expand Dollywood theme park in Tennessee, FORREC’s 2004 master plan struck the right chord. What followed was a quick succession of projects and attractions for both Dollywood and Branson’s Silver Dollar City in Missouri. Dollywood’s Mystery Mine, a standout project for FORREC, was voted Theme Park Insider’s Best New Attraction in 2007.

This thrilling, distinctive dark-ride roller coaster sends riders on a high-speed runaway train through a 1900s mine shaft. Our most recent Dollywood attraction, FireChaser Express (2014), is North America’s first dual-launch family coaster that puts guests in the hot seat – literally. FORREC’s work with Herschend over the past 10 years has included several projects, giving us the opportunity to provide customized combinations of the services we offer.
