As far as I'm concerned, I don't mean to show things that already exist. What I'm interested in is showing things that may exist. That's the subtext. I'm trying to dig into what's behind the people around me, what's outside the surface.Painting is a visual medium; it's about how I visually present things beyond the surface. Maybe it's through some very small things, sometimes I make some very small gestures; sometimes I make it very dramatic. For me, it's interesting to see what's behind the scenes. It's not only a bad thing, it's also a good thing.
