图解《新概念英语》语法之副词

副词（Adverb）是指在句子中表示行为或状态特征的词，用以修饰动词、形容词、其他副词或整个句子，表示时间、地点、程度、方式等概念。副词可分为：时间副词、频率副词、地点副词、方式副词、程度副词、疑问副词、连接副词、关系副词等。

1 句子功能
1.1 主要用来修饰形容词、动词或整个句子的词语。副词也经常用来修饰副词。
1.2 在句中主要作状语，也可以作表语、定语、补语等。如：They can run very fast. (状语) / He is out now. (表语) / We saw him out. (宾补) / He was seen out. (主补)
2 比较关系

2.2 与形容词不同的是，副词最高级的定冠词the可以省略。如：He sings the best in the class. / He sings best in the class. vs. He is the best singer in the class.
3 分类
3.1 按副词意义分
3.1.1 时间、地点、方式、程度副词。
3.2 按副词作用分
3.2.1 句子副词、连接副词、疑问副词、解释副词、感叹副词。
3.3 按副词形式分
3.3.1 独词副词、复合副词、派生副词。
3.4 在此我们只分享按副词意义分的四种副词。
4 时间副词
4.1 表确定时间的副词，如：yesterday, today, tomorrow。
4.2 表不确定时间的副词，如：always, usually, often, sometimes, never。
4.3 表时间先后顺序的副词，如：now, then; first, next, later, before, after。
4.4 位置
4.4.1 确定时间大多放在句末，也可以放在句首。如：She was here yesterday. / Yesterday she was here.
4.4.2 不确定时间一般放在情态动词/系动词/助动词后面、实义动词前面。如：He can always win the game.
5 地点副词
5.1 表示地点的副词，如：here, there, downstairs, upstairs。
5.2 表示方位的副词，如：down, up, east, west。
6 方式副词
6.1 大多以-ly结尾，用来描述“怎么样”或“如何地”等。如：warmly, carefully, slowly, politely。
6.2 位置：一般用来修饰动词，放在动词后面，也可放前面。如：He greeted him warmly. / He warmly greeted him.
7 程度副词
7.1 表程度，大多用来修饰形容词或副词，主要起强调作用。如：very, much, quite, rather, only。
7.2 位置
7.2.1 当修饰形容词时，大多放在形容词前面，但enough是放在形容词后面的，如：good enough/very good。
7.2.2 当修饰副词时，一般放在前面，如：very much, quite well。
7.2.3 当修饰动词时，大多放在动词后面，如：He is driving slowly along the street.
8 总体位置
8.1 以上四类副词如果同时出现在同一个句子中，其一般顺序依次为：（时间+）+程度+方式+地点+时间，其中的时间可前可后。
9 特殊情况
9.1 英语里有些形容词有两种不同形式的副词，往往意义和用法都不一样。如：wide和deep。
9.2 wide和widely，wide表示物理意义上的“张得很大地”，而widely则表示抽象意义上的”广泛地“。
9.3 deep和deeply，deep表示物理意义上的“深深地”，deeply表示抽象意义上的“强烈地”。
