《卡由》（Caillou）(法语发音: [kaˈju]) 是加拿大儿童教育类动画片，动画片依据Hélène Desputeaux创作的儿童书籍《卡由》而制作完成，作者是一位儿童发展心理学家，原版书籍为法语，目标人群设定为学步儿童。
动画片开始在加拿大播出的是法语版，后来剧集被翻译为英语，英语版动画片重播，在美国PBS（美国公共广播公司）及PBS儿童频道播出。
The series was originally broadcast in French in Canada, and the episodes were later translated into English, and re-runs in English began on PBS and PBS Kids Sprout in the United States. The original books were also in French. Caillou was designed primarily for toddlers. It was created by child developmental psychologists.
动画片以四岁的小男孩卡由Caillou对周围世界充满着好奇心为主题，讲述了他和爸爸、妈妈、两岁的妹妹一起生活的故事。卡由和他的家人朋友有许多冒险活动，在每一集中也充分发挥着他的想象力。
卡由是一个普通、富有想象力、秃头、四岁小男孩，热爱各种运输工具，例如火箭飞船和飞机。他是个梦想家，在一些剧集中，频繁地幻想着他的白日梦和种种希望。
很多剧集则描述了他与父母、朋友和邻居之间点点滴滴的日常生活。比如卡由第一天被送往幼儿园时的胆怯紧张如何慢慢被克服，夜晚害怕黑暗，在母亲的帮助下被克服等等。
卡由特别喜欢他的毛绒恐龙玩具Rexy、泰迪熊Teddy，以及宠物猫Gilbert，在开始的剧集中，所有这些片段以木偶形式出演。
Caillou is an average, imaginative, bald four-year-old boy with a love for forms of transportive machinery such as rocket ships and airplanes. A dreamer, Caillou is prone to frequent dream sequences in some episodes, visualizing his daydreams and hopes, and many episodes chronicle his normal daily experiences with his parents, friends, and neighbours. Caillou particularly loves his stuffed dinosaur Rexy and teddy bear Teddy, along with his pet cat Gilbert, all of whom are depicted as puppets in segments featured in the earlier episodes.
故事情节的展开完全来源于普通生活，故事是现实中切实存在的，把儿童敏感的心理活动完全表现出来，例如妹妹出生后分掉父母对自己的爱时，卡由对妹妹产生抵触情绪，在父母引导下转变为喜欢妹妹。
这部看似看似平淡无奇的动画片，却能让小朋友切身体会成长过程中那些喜怒哀乐，容易引起情感上的共鸣，同时这也是一部非常适合做英语启蒙的动画片。
喜欢各种动画片的我看了几集后，瞬间被剧中配音萌化了，首先美音听起来比英音更随意些，对剧中儿童角色的配音听起来也萌萌的。还有很喜欢这部动画片的主题曲，特别有趣的一首歌，歌词写得很不错。
