Good morning , ladies and gentlemen ！ It’s my great honor to stand here to present my lesson with you here.
I will divide the introduction into four parts : they are teaching material, teaching aims , teaching emphasis and difficulties and teaching procedures.
Teaching material: the topic of the unit is “my father is a writer”. We will learn lesson 17 of this unit .
Teaching aims:
Enable the students to use the two sentences to ask others’ profession.
Teaching emphasis and difficulties:
How to ask others’ profession .
Teaching procedures :
Review words : Look at the pictures and say their jobs .
Review sentences: Ask and answer .
Who is he/ she?
He /She is ……
What does …… do ?
He / She is a/ an ……
I read the text first and then let the students read by themselves.
Explain the two sentences:
What does ……do? What’s somebody’s job?
Summary : How to ask others’ jobs?
