这个句式超级棒, 它让你的语气调节到一个非常非常柔和的地步, 大家多体会
I know that I said some mean things about you before, but I was wondering do you think it would be possible if you loaned me some money?
Hi, I was wondering do you think it would be possible if we get a coffee sometime, maybe?

注意原句的时态, I was wondering因为是之前在琢磨这件事, 所以用过去时
do you think是现在问对方怎么想, 所以用一般现在时
it would be…if I got…这是虚拟语气的时态
不过呢, 你看我的第二个例句就没有严格遵守虚拟语气的时态规则, 口语中的虚拟语气if从句里的时态常常用的比较随意

注意very long前边不需要介词for
注意get an advance on my salary中的介词用on

注意这里I口吃了几次, 要多留意这种情况, 避免有时候你以为是别的词, 其实只是口吃, 从而听错
注意这里got a $100 advance中的a读作了[eɪ], 而不是[ə].
当a重读强调的时候读[eɪ], 不需要强调的话读[ə]
但有时候似乎只要你想读[eɪ], 也是可以, 比如这里并不是强调

advance=n 前进, 向前(literal)
You can advance a chess piece on a board, advance toward someone across a room, or observe an army as it advances into a country
advance=n 提前预支, 向前支付(figurative)
They offered an advance of $5,000 after the signing of the contract.
