形容词与介词搭配虽没有明确的规则,但我们可用手工进行一定的分类

形容词能与什么介词搭配似乎没有一个合乎逻辑的规则,因此记住常见的搭配就行了。有些形容词与某些介词搭配表示某些大概的意思,可以稍微记住一定的样式。


一、形容词与 at 连用
1. At 与 clever,good,expert 或 amazing 等形容词连用来表示技能和能力,例如:
She is clever at household management.
她很会料理家务。
He's really good at English.
他英语真的很好。
He's an expert at getting his own way.
他在如何达到自己的目的方面很在行。
She's amazing at the piano.
她钢琴弹得很好。
2. At 与 bad,hopeless 或 terrible 等形容词连用来表示不擅长或不胜任做某事,例如:
She is so bad at keeping secrets.
她一点都不会保守秘密。
I'm hopeless at science.
我对理科一窍不通。
They're terrible at organising anything.
他们什么都不擅长组织。
3. At 与 angry,annoyed 或 furious 等形容词连用来表示生气或愤怒,例如:
I'm angry at my dentist for charging so much.
我对我的牙医收费这么高很生气。
He's furious at his neighbor's incivility.
他对邻居的无礼感到愤怒。
I bet she was annoyed at having to write it out again.
我敢说她对不得不重写一遍感到恼火。
4. At 或 by 与 amazed,astonished,shocked 或 surprised 等形容词连用来震惊或惊讶,例如:
I was amazed at his stamina.
我对他的耐力感到惊讶。
He's astonished at her good humor.
他对她的幽默感到惊讶。
We were all shocked at the news of his death.
听到他的死讯,我们都感到震惊。
The teacher was surprised by / at the student's question.
老师对学生的问题感到惊讶。

二、形容词与 about 或 of 连用
1. About 与 sorry,angry,excited,nervous,sad,worried,upset 或 furious 等表示情感的形容词连用来解释是什么导致了这种情感,例如:
I'm very sorry about losing your book.
我很抱歉把你的书丢了。
I'm angry about the decision.
我对这个决定很生气。
She's excited about the new job.
她对新工作很兴奋。
He's nervous about the presentation.
他对演讲很紧张。
I felt terribly sad about it.
我对此深感遗憾。
They were worried about the exam.
他们担心考试。
There's no point getting upset about it.
犯不着为此事难过。
The boss was furious about the past quarter's losses.
老板对上个季度的亏损感到愤怒。
2. Of 与 afraid,frightened,scared  或 proud  等表示情感的形容词连用也可表示情感,例如:
She was afraid of telling her mum.
她害怕告诉她妈妈。
I'm frightened of having an accident.
我害怕出事故。
He's scared of flying.
他害怕坐飞机。
You should be proud of your progress.
你应该为自己的进步感到骄傲。

三、形容词与 to 连用
1. To 与 married,addicted,allergic 或 similar 等形容词连用来表示人之间、物之间或人与物之间的联系,例如:
He's married to the director.
他和导演结婚了。
I'm addicted to my phone.
我对手机上瘾了。
I'm allergic to nuts.
我对坚果过敏。
It's similar to the old one.
它和旧的很相似。
2. To 与 friendly,nice,polite 或 rude 等形容词连用来表示对他人的行为,例如:
They were really friendly to me.
他们对我真的很友好。
Was he nice to you?
他对你好吗?
He is always polite to everyone.
他对每个人都很有礼貌。
She was very rude to the waitress.
她对女招待很粗鲁。

四、形容词与 for 连用
Exercise is good for you.
运动对你有好处。
Stress is bad for you.
压力对你有害。
She's famous for her watercolor paintings.
她以水彩画闻名。
I'm responsible for the financial side of the business.
我负责公司的财务方面。
Jason is sorry for making a mistake.
杰森很抱歉犯了个错误。

五、形容词与 in 连用
She's interested in the project.
她对这个项目很感兴趣。
They want someone who's experienced in design.
他们需要有设计经验的人。
I didn't want to get involved in the argument.
我不想卷入这场争论。
