初中英语的三大法宝（2）：感叹句型

在初中的英语学习中，有三个被老师反反复复强调、或者反反复复操练的知识，如图：

说它们是“法宝”，是因为这些基本原则为后边的语法学习奠定了基础，它有点像数学的基本原理/公式，其他的诸多所谓“规则”都是在这个基础上推演出来的。

今天看第二个：主将从现。

感叹句型——what加名词词组；how加形容词/副词词组。

感叹句中，what后面是名词词组。有三种可能，例如：

What a nice present it is! 它是一件多么好的礼物啊！（a/n + adj. + 单数可数名词）

What good children they are! 他们是多么好的孩子啊！（adj. + 复数名词）

What fine weather it is today! 今天天气多好啊！（adj. + 单数不可数名词）

再看how的例子，也有三种可能。例如：

How beautifully you sing! 你唱得真好听! （adj./adv. + SV）

How time flies! 光阴似箭!  （SV）

How beautiful a girl she is!

= What a beautiful girl she is （adj. + a/n + n.）

推理拓展一·：部分涉及连词how/what的名词从句、状语从句（“无论……“），其判断标准参照以上规则。

例1：However well prepared you are, you still need a lot of luck in mountain climbing.

无论你准备多充分，爬山时还是需要很多运气的成分。（however+ adj.）

例2：That is, they will study what words and images their advertisement should contain and what slogans they intend to make use of.

也就是说，他们会研究广告中应包含什么词语和影像、使用什么口号。（what + 名词词组）

例3：两个中译英真题——

将来过怎样的生活取决于你自己。(be up to)：

“过怎样的生活“——what a life you will lead

如果能找到任何适合你的学习方法，你的学习效率就可能明显提高。(whatever)

“任何适合你的学习方法”——whatever learning method suits you

推理拓展二：so和such后面的结构，分别比照how和what。该应用场景包括结果状语从句（如此……以至于……）

例4：He ran so fast that I couldn’t catch up with him.

他跑得这么快，我都追不上他。

例5：He made such stupid mistakes that the teacher tore up the whole paper.

他犯了如此愚蠢的错误，以至于老师把整个试卷都给撕了。（such＋adj.＋n.）

例6：How fantastic it is that such large animals can only eat so little food.

这么大的动物吃那么少的食物，这真是太好玩了！

（注意：为什么是so little food呢？记住：在表示“多“”少“的形容词前只用so——这样记：“多（many）多（much）少（few）少（little）”前用so！）

推理拓展三：So和Such开头的倒装结构。

例7：So surprised was he that he couldn't say a word.

他是如此地驚訝，以至於說不出話來。

例8：Such lazy students are they that they have no hope of passing the exam.

他们是这样懒的学生，因此想考及格全都无望了。
