许多时侯
都独自一个人反复看镜子
看里面还会不会有其它
有雪花
有闪电
有人沿途停下
有人沿途叫卖
有人长吁短叹
许多时侯
妄图抵达海边
去踩踏另外一个人的脚印
叫叫亲爱的
或者，不停把自己内心的相思
大声喊出来
有的时候
扫落叶，边扫边想
想某一个下午的小镇
夕阳西下
坐在一棵树旁
祝福路过的人

There are many times
When you are all alone and keep looking into the mirror
To see if anyone else is there
There are snowflakes
There is lightning
There are people who have stopped by the roadside
There are people peddling goods by the roadside
There are people continually moaning groaning in pain
There are many times
When you make futile attempts to get to the beach
So that you might tread in another's footprints
Call out "my dear"
Or clamour incessantly
About your love sickness
There are other times
When you are sweeping up dead leaves, as you sweep up your thoughts
You are thinking about a certain afternoon in a small town
At sunset
You are sitting beside a tree
Receiving the blessings of passers-by

罗曼简介
罗曼 （笔名“海门）斯科特是作家和翻译家。她在欧洲长大，会说多种语言，现在和家人住在澳大利亚。毕业于悉尼大学，三十多年来，她对中国文化产生了极大的尊重和热爱，经常到中国去拜访她的许多艺术家朋友。翻译一些值得注意的中国诗人的作品也是她的一大乐趣和荣幸。
Romaine Scott is a writer and translator. She grew up in Europe, speaking a number of languages and now lives in Australia with her family. A graduate of the University of Sydney, she has, over thirty years, developed a great respect and love for Chinese culture, frequently travelling to China to visit her many artist friends. It has also been her great joy and privilege to translate the work of several notable Chinese poets.
