The Greatest Hits In Floyd Mayweather's Car Collec...
Anyone who knows anything about boxing has surely heard of Floyd Mayweather. He’s one of the best ever. Plus, he holds multiple world titles. On top of that, he was listed by Sports Illustrated and Forbes as one of the highest paid athletes in 2012, then again in 2013. He’s also gone 50 fights without losing, which is unprecedented. Since he’s accumulated so much money over the years, it only makes sense that he would invest in things which make him happy. That’s where his auto collection comes in.
When Floyd Mayweather wants a car, there’s no stopping him. Considering his fights have become some of the largest money-makers of all time, it’s easy to see why he would invest in cars. In fact, his fight with Manny Pacquiao made $600 million, just from pay-per-view. Then, it earned another $73 million for the gate tickets. Let’s not get started on the Conor McGregor circus. Did you know that the lowest amount he’s received on one fight since 2006 was a whopping $25 million?
That brings us to the beautiful cars owned by Floyd Mayweather. He has no trouble flaunting his latest rides on social media and producing envy in his followers. His collection of luxury cars is extensive and extravagant, to say the least. He has even been known to purchase the same vehicle in different colors! With some of his supercars costing more than a private jet, we thought it would be fun to take a look at a few.

Even during his 2017 battle with the United States IRS, Mayweather’s car collection grew. At the time, he owned more than 100 luxury toys and many of them just sat in his Las Vegas garage.
Where Does Floyd Mayweather Buy Cars?
During an ESPN interview in 2015, Mayweather stated that he had $15 million worth of luxury vehicles just sitting in his garage. What’s interesting about those vehicles is that he purchased more than 100 of them from one car dealer. Towbin Motors claims to have sold the majority of Floyd Mayweather’s cars to him during the course of 18 years.
Even more interesting is that Mayweather mainly paid for his cars in cash. In fact, Towbin said he had to get a new cash-counting device to handle all the cash Mayweather would show up with. To carry all of that money, Mayweather and his crew would take duffel bags full of dough from the bank. We imagine they loved doing business with him.
While it would take years to document all of the Mayweather’s four wheeled possessions, we thought it would be good to list the top 10 powerhouses he owns. These are either some of the most expensive currently in his garage, or models that he previously owned.
1. Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita
Can anyone really pronounce the name of this car? Probably not, but that didn’t stop Floyd Mayweather from adding it to his collection. It’s powered by a 4.8-liter twin-supercharged flex engine that produces a mind-blowing 1,018 horsepower. Because it’s so aerodynamic, the car hits 60 miles per hour in less than 2.9 seconds. What makes this car unique is the limited edition specifications. The first thing most people notice is the diamond weave in the carbon fiber finish.
In total, there were only two of these ever produced and they cost an astounding $4.8 million each (four point eight million dollars!) That makes this car the most expensive in the collection. Other than in the Floyd Mayweather car collection, you’ll find the second version of this car in a garage of a wealthy man located in Geneva.
2. Bugatti Chiron
This Bugatti is the upgraded vehicle to the Veyron we’ll tell you about in number three. Of course, it’s also one of the fastest ever made and was specifically designed to replace the Veyron. The only people that had the option to purchase this car were those who already had a Bugatti. That’s how Floyd Mayweather acquired this model. Bugatti contacted Mayweather directly to see if he wanted one.
He wasn’t the only one that scooped up this car. In fact, their first 200 units sold out before they even begun production on them. In Mayweather’s car collection, this one features a 267 mph top speed. What’s interesting is that it could achieve 288 mph but Bugatti maxed it at 267 mph to keep it safe. Somehow we don’t think that an additional 21 mph would make the car anymore unsafe.
This vehicle also features 1,479 horsepower, which is slightly hard to comprehend. I guess that’s why Mayweather had to shell out $3.5 million to add this to his Las Vegas garage.
3. Bugatti Veyron
The Veyron held the title for the fastest car for quite some time before the Chiron was released. If you thought that the collection would be complete with just one of these, think again. He was so enamored with this supercar that he needed to add three to his garage. At $1.7 million each, that’s a nice big chunk of change spent.
This Bugatti came with 1,020 horsepower and a top speed of 257 mph. This propelled it to 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds. It was developed and designed by Volkswagen in Germany, but manufactured in France through Bugatti.
You might have seen any number of other rappers and athletes driving a Veyron as well. That’s because it’s become a symbol of wealth in America and something many famous people pride themselves on owning. There’s even one in the Tom Brady car collection.
4. Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse
Essentially, this is a roadster version of Mayweather’s Veyron. We imagine that part of the reason this was added to the collection was so that Mayweather could listen to the roar of the turbochargers and engine.
It’s also a record-breaking supercar. In 2013, it took the world record as being the fastest production roadster car. That’s because it reached a 254 mph top speed. With 1,200 horsepower, it’s capable of hitting 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds. That’s not too shabby considering it is a roadster. Part of the reason it is so fast is due to the roof spoiler which has a special design to reduce the wind sound.
5. Pagani Huayra
This might just be one of the most expensive cars ever manufactured. That didn’t stop it from becoming a part of the Mayweather collection. Since he already owned most everything else out there, it makes sense that his humongous garage would include this as well.
This sports car was produced in limited quantities. There have been only 100 produced through 2015. It’s powered by a twin-turbocharged V12 engine that was created by Mercedes AMG just for this Huaryra. With the 720 horsepower it provides, it goes from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and features a top speed of 238 mph.
It cost $1.4 million and was also named Hypercar of the Year by Top Gear in 2012.
6. Aston Martin One-77
Have you ever seen a car so appealing before? This rare vehicle is exquisite and hard to find. There have only been 77 of them produced. Considering one of them died in a Hong Kong crash from 2012, that leaves just 76 that we know about.
When this was added to the collection, it came as a package deal with the Pagani Huayra. They were both purchased at one shot. Talk about increasing the value of the Floyd Mayweather car garage overnight.
With a 220 mph top speed, the Aston Martin One-77 hits 60 mph in 3.5 seconds. What’s the price tag on this you might ask? Simply a mere $2.4 million, but Mayweather might have dropped over $3 million in order to score the limited edition model. With its 7.3-liter V12 engine combined with the 750 horsepower, we are sure he’s happy with the purchase.
7. LaFerrari Aperta
It shouldn’t surprise you that another one of the Floyd Mayweather cars includes this limited edition model. The word “LaFerrari” is actually Italian for Ferrari. Basically, it’s just a fancier way of referring to a Ferrari. The word “Aperta” translates from Italian to mean “open.”
Again, we only see 499 of these produced, making them rare and collectible. This demand caused the price to go above $1 million a car. While Ferrari did end up making a 500th version of this car, it was sent to auction and sold for $10 million.
If Mayweather likes investments, this will prove to give him more money back. For this reason, he should consider selling it. Chances are slim though because it featured a 217 mph top speed and hits 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds.
8. Ferrari 458 Italia
Based on the collection, you would think he had become a Ferrari brand ambassador based on how many he stored up. We assume he became one of their favorite customers throughout the years.
The 458 Italia was a successor to the F430. It came with fully refreshed technology and a brand new design. It inherited the same Maserati V8 engine and employed direct injection. This is the first time a luxury Ferrari road car had this. The company used the aerodynamic design to improve efficiency and maintain a stylish, sleek look.
Of course, this isn’t quite as fast as his Bugatti Veyron when driving straight. Where the 458 becomes the star is around corners. It’s more than exotic and luxurious but was created with downforce and aerodynamics in mind. This makes it a beast on the track. Because of this, you wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the Floyd Mayweather car collection also contains a convertible version.
9. Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
In continuation of this obsession with Ferrari, the collection also contain this Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Of course, you can assume this is yet another rare beast. In fact, the last 599 GTB Fiorano made with a manual transmission was delivered in 2012.
This sleek car features a 205 mph top speed and hits 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. That’s thanks to the 6.0-liter V12 engine which puts out a powerful 612 horsepower. Surprisingly, Mayweather hasn’t been seen in this vehicle very often in public. Maybe it’s because he’s attempting to preserve the value of this automobile.
10. Ferrari Enzo
This fourth rare Ferrari in our list is a popular collector’s item. There are only about 400 of them still in existence, so it makes sense to include it in the Floyd Mayweather cars list. The rarity of this sports car caused Mayweather to spend $3.2 million to have one in his garage.
It’s unclear whether Mayweather plans to resell it for a profit or keep it, but he’s put over 500 miles on it. With a top speed of 218 mph, this supercar hits 60 mph in just 3.14 seconds. What’s special about this model is that Ferrari named it after the founder and it featured some sophisticated, high-end Formula 1 technology.
Not only that, but it also applied non-regulated F1 technologies, which was also a first in race cars. This car has active aerodynamics plus computer-activated traction control. The engine instead is a 6.0-liter Tipo F140 B V12 paired with a six-speed F1 style electro-hydraulic semi-automatic transmission.
The first year of production was 2002, but that ended in 2004. After that, the special edition models were manufactured up until 2009. As you can imagine, naming a car after the founder means it must be exceptional. Since this V12 produces 651 horsepower, it’s surely enough to knock anyone’s socks off. On top of that, it wasn’t geared to go in a straight line, like a drag racer. Instead, it’s been tweaked to handle those curves and lap tracks as quickly as possible. That’s why it’s become known as one of the greatest vehicles Ferrari ever made.
Bonus: The Ken Okuyama Kode57
Though it’s not one of the most expensive cars in the legend’s collection, this one is worth mentioning because it’s so unique and special. This is the Kode57.
Why would you name a car Kode57? According to Ken Okuyama, the designer of this Ferrariish supercar, it is because 1957 was a great year for cars, motorsport, and car industry. Alfa Romeo 2000, Aston Martin DB Mark III, Jaguar XK150, Maserati 3500 GT are only some of cars revealed in 1957. We cannot actually see the resemblance between the Kode57 and any of them. What we can see is a strong relationship of this design with the previous Ken Okuyama works – notably the Ferrari Enzo and the Ferrari Rossa.
Yes, my dear readers, Ken Okuyama is the man who drew the Enzo. And not only that, he was the lead designer for Pininfarina and the one responsible for the Quattroporte. Also, his designs include the Maserati Birdcage, the Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina, and many other cars. What after making all that? The only logical step is to create an all-new car company. Not exactly a car company, but a coach built car.
That is exactly what the Kode57 is! Coachbuilt supercar created on top of the Ferrari 599 chassis. No, it does not look like a 599. More like the Enzo or the Rossa Concept. Yet, that was to be expected as Ken Okuyama is known for creating cars with vertical front lights (599 included) and outrageous body shapes. You see, the Kode57’s front end is strangely hollow. Apart from the massive intakes on bumpers, it features enormous openings just beside the bonnet at front. This surely gives us a unique glimpse on its suspension, but it apparently helps a lot in lowering high pressure around the wheels as well.
What is more, it looks cool. We actually learned that channeling air from the front and pushing it out to the sides will create a bubble of air around the car. Something similar is on the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Although, not as dramatic as in this case.
Even so, Ken Okuyama certainly had a whole different idea with the 599 chassis compared to that what we have seen from the Ferrari. Not only is it outrageous, but it also has insane doors. They open up and backward. The only car we could think of that has similar doors is that mad Audi RSQ concept made in 2004 for the I, Robot movie.
The back is equally radical as the front, but it does feel a lot less Ferrari-like and a lot more I-am-really-Awesome-like. Sure, round lights simply had to be there, but if you skim over them, you will notice they are also hollow.
What is not hollow, but quite luxuriously equipped is the cabin. With centrally-positioned old-fashioned gizmos and climate controls taken straight from Ferrari, the Kode57 definitely feels special. Carbon fiber is there, as well as buttons for Launch control, and transmission. The steering wheel is from Ferrari too. Notice the Manettino Dial. “Wet, Sport, Race, CT Off, ESC Off” – it is all there and the driver will need it.
Powerplant, which actually sticks out up front from the bonnet, is a classic Ferrari V12. Sourced from the 599, V12 churns out around 600 hp, but with the Novitec Rosso tuning (available already), it can be dialed up all the way to 692hp. Even more for the right customer. And there is a customer. Actually, three of them. One is from Japan, the other one is Floyd Mayweather and the third one is a mystery. So, Floyd Mayweather!?
He already has an incredible car collection (Bentley Mulsanne, Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, Ferrari 458 Italia, 599 GTB Fiorano, Enzo, 650S, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Lamborghini Murcielago, Porsche 911 Turbo, Rolls-Royce Phantom etc…), so we are not that surprised he went for this.
Although the car is just a concept, Okuyama did say that limited production run is possible. Obviously, it is already happening. As for the financial side of things, the Kode57 price comes in around $2.5 million which is likely what Mayweather paid for his.
Okuyama has a lot of faith in this project. In one of the interviews he gave, he said:
“This is the latest chapter in the rise of bespoke. My clients love it because it allows them to be involved in a project from scratch, to work from sketches, and to be intimately involved in the whole process.”
Where Does Mayweather Find These Beautiful Cars?
Can You Find a Brand New Bugatti in 12 Hours? Floyd Mayweather’s Exotic Car Guru Can
Floyd Mayweather’s 100 exotic cars are almost as famous as his boxing. Behind the scenes a resourceful exotic car magician keeps the boxer’s wheels turning. A genius called Obi Okeke.
Obi Okeke is a partner in an exotic car dealership near Hollywood that caters to TV and motion picture stars and entertainment tycoons, and yes, boxers and other athletes. He’s become know as the man who can make the impossible possible.
For example, at 3 a.m. one morning Okeke’s phone rang in his Los Angeles home. It was Mayweather who wanted a second Bugatti Veyron delivered to his mansion Las Vegas – in 12 hours. This was just prior to the first Marcos Maidana fight last year Mayweather decided he wanted to drive the new Bugatti to the gym that day. Okeke made it to Mayweather’s driveway with an hour to spare.
For Bugatti number 3, Mayweather called in the afternoon and wanted it delivered to his Vegas digs by midnight.
Okeke told Automotive News there’s no room for mediocrity when dealing with Mayweather. The boxer has high expectations for himself, Okeke said, and therefore does for everyone around him.
The Ferrari Enzo and three Bugatti Veyrons Okeke sold to Mayweather for approximately $10 million in cash
Of the 100 cars reported in Mayweather’s car collection, Okeke sold him 39 cars including a Ferrari Enzo and three Bugatti Veyrons, the last four cars alone worth nearly $10 million combined (which he paid for entirely in cash).
Okeke was born in Nigeria to an American mother and a Nigerian father and educated in Switzerland. He started his career as a Chevrolet dealer in 1987 and eventually moved on to manage stores for Mercedes Benz, Lexus, BMW, Ferrari and Maserati before he started his own. It was at the Ferrari dealership in 2008 where he met the super rich boxing champ Floyd Mayweather.
What Do You Think of the Collection?
If you had the money to buy whatever you wanted, would you invest in the same vehicles he has? What would be on your dream list of cars to own? A Rolls-Royce Wraith, a Lamborghini Aventador, a Bentley Flying Spur, and a few choice Mercedes Benz pieces? Probably all that and more, right? It’s always fun to imagine driving any one of the cars for yourself, but many of us will never attain it. That reality won’t stop us from dreaming, now will it?
Is there a particular car you think Floyd Mayweather owns that’s not in keeping with his lifestyle? Let us know in the comments and maybe it will end up in his Las Vegas garage one day. When it comes to celebrity cars, Mayweather has fine taste indeed.
