Pentatonix，简称PTX，来自美国德克萨斯州阿灵顿的纯人声乐团，由四名男生和一名女生成员组成，Scott Hoying，Mitch Grassi, Kirstie Maldonado, Avi Kaplan, Kevin Olusola。该团以完美的默契度所演唱的和声，足以媲美乐队伴奏的乐曲。同时，该组合的音乐领域极为丰富，包括摇滚乐、电子乐、雷鬼音乐、乡村音乐、朋克等，每一种风格的音乐作品在他们的演唱之下都富含新颖的内涵，使人产生耳目一新的感觉。并且该队打破了阿卡贝拉的固有传统，用人声涉足流行乐坛，引领了阿卡贝拉界的新潮流。
这支乐队最初是在德克萨斯州阿灵顿市组成的三重奏乐队，成员是Scott Hoying、Mitch Grassi和Kirstie Maldonado，他们自幼就认识，在高中时曾在同一所学校唱诗班演唱。他们的三人组是在电台比赛中组成的，大赛的大奖是与电视音乐剧《欢乐合唱团》的演员见面。他们录了一段自己的视频，在视频中他们合唱了Lady Gaga的歌曲《Telephone》的和声三部分，然后送了进去。他们没有赢得比赛，但这三人组在学校引起了注意。
