A Game Designer and Creative

Ryota Kuroiwa

Here, you can see a collection of my best game projects I worked on during my time here at university. The games I worked on range from solo projects to group projects, 3D to 2D, and even simple games which only use two buttons, to multiple choice, branching narratives that contain multiple endings. All of these games, plus others as well, are free to play at the links below.

Frog Island

Oliver Pope

Download Frog Island Here!
Frog Island is a 3d platformer game, where you are a small frog with a big tongue and bigger ambitions. The player uses their frog tongue to swing themselves and fling obstacles to get to the end as fast as possible. When it comes to Frog Island, the core design goal was to make the game “all about the tongue”, giving the player full control over it!
Features of Frog Island Include :
Unique interactions in every level based on the core mechanic, including rowing a boat, throwing darts, and creating bridges.
Levels designed for casual players taking it easy, with a forgiving checkpoint system, and easy platforming, but also experienced players trying to beat their best time, with hidden shortcuts, and technically difficult platforming.
Secret coins, bananas, and hats for the frog hidden in every level, for players who like to explore and collect it all.

More Than Entertainment

zhenzhou Yang

Games are born from but not limited to entertainment. .
Just as physical stores are gradually replaced by virtual ones, interactive experiences like "games" will gradually replace the general image and video media, becoming one of the mainstream media in the fields of advertising and exhibitions. It is also a new approach to help teaching people.
This proposal includes an attempt to maximize the interactive experience, an educational game created by news and facts, and a virtual disaster that built based on a real-world model.

Nichola Humphreys

This showcase displays the most iconic projects I've worked on over the last 3 years, both independently and in teams. Mommy? - a 2D horror game

Jamie Li

I made this video game for my final year project at university on BA Games Design. The game centres around a little lost girl who got separated from their mother on the streets and the aim is to find her. However it seems that the girl is not alone and things can get a bit scary walking through the dark streets. The game mainly focuses on the concept of AR but in 2D form by toggling a camera screen function to be able to see things not normally seen by the naked eye.
You can download and play the full version of my game here: https://jynli707.itch.io/mommy
