     happy=pleased 欣慰的

               =glad 开心的

               =in a good humour 开心

               =in a good mood 开心

e.g.

>>> I'm pleased with the way things have been going. 我很喜欢事情现在的进展。

We are pleased that problems have been resolved. 我们很开心，因为问题被解决了。

She looked at her son, her eyes leaking glad tears. 她看着她的儿子，眼里流出高兴的眼泪。

When my dad watered the flowers, he was in a good humour. 我老爸在浇花的时候，他心情很好。

Music could really put me in a good mood. 音乐真的让我心情很好。

    boring =tedious 无聊的

                =uninteresting 无趣的               

e.g.

>>> The course is really tedious. 这个课程挺无聊的。

The speech is kind of uninteresting I'm afraid. 这个演讲挺无聊的我觉得。

             =valiant ['vælɪənt]英勇的，勇敢的                 

e.g.

I have enjoyed plenty of films where women are strong and courageous. 我看过很多电影。在这些电影里，女性都是比较强大和勇敢的。

The little boy was eaten up by tumor but he fought a valiant effort for about five years. 这个小男孩被肿瘤折磨的不轻，但是他还是很勇敢地和它斗争了三年。
